A couple of weekends ago I was honored to be invited at the Girls in Gis 8th Anniversary. This epic organization which is dedicated to women in Jiu Jitsu and providing a support network for all who train, turned 8 this year!!!!
7 time World Champion Hannette Staack and I were the guests of honour and we showed some techniques on the Saturday and then we each offered a seminar on the Sunday. There was a really nice turn out and it was so good to see all of us collectively supporting this movement.
We each received an award for the work we do and out contribution to women's bjj. I want to thank Shama Ko, the mother ship, and founder of Girls in Gis for the opportunity and all that she does to lift women up.
As you all know, Girls in Gis is coming to Las Vegas on Sunday August 27th (the day after the Master Worlds). If you are heading to Vegas to compete, extend your travels for one extra day to make this epic event. Ladies from literally all over the world will be there and it will be an amazing opportunity to connect and train. I will be the guest instructor along with the lovely Mylene Ramos Manalo. Book your spot ASAP since this is going to fill up!!

Last Saturday, I had the privilege to be a guest instructor at Triton Fight Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. It was so amazing to be teaching so many women. Thank you Girls in Gis for the opportunity and Triton Bjj for hosting us.
And most of all a huge thank you to the 150 Ladies who came! I feel very honoured to be able to share my knowledge and experience with such an inspiring group of women!
