This week I had an epic interview for Jiu-Jitsu Times. It was yet another opportunity to speak up about leading the way as a head professor and a career woman in a male dominated sport. I address subjects in a daring and possibly contentious way about the empowered woman in touch with her feminine power and all the while unapologetically owning it in a man's world. I also talk about my women’s online program www.girls-ontop.com and my Lifestyle Camp seminars and events to help bring women together and empower them through women’s specific learning and activities.
I was honoured to sit down with Kenny a few weeks ago and hav a candid chat for Grapple TV podcast. I don't really talk about bjj here so much. I talk about deeper issues of life, mindset, resilience and dealing with setbacks. Bjj is just a tool to become really strong mentally so that we can overcome anything in life.
I talk about how tough it was moving up the ranks and being a ‘gringo’ which on the competition circuit. All these experiences fostered my drive to do what I am doing today - which is to make your journeys easier and to provide support and a sisterhood.
